The journey

From offering to blessing

Five gentle steps, from your offering to the blessings that follow.

1

Make your offering

Choose Annadaan, rituals, or both, pick your sacred places, and pay securely.

2

Get your unique ID

A confirmation email arrives with your offering summary and a unique reference ID.

3

Enter lineage

For rituals, open the portal with your ID and provide your family details.

4

Priests perform

Learned priests perform the rite in your family’s name at the chosen tirtha.

5

Receive blessings

You receive your sankalp confirmation and photos of the seva offered.

First, an important difference

Annadaan or rituals — what each needs

Annadaan needs no family details. Rituals are performed for your specific ancestors, so they need your lineage.

Annadaan

No details needed from you

Annadaan is offered in your name across the sacred sites. It requires no family information — simply make your offering and it is done on your behalf. If you choose Annadaan only, you do not need to fill the lineage form.

Rituals

Lineage details required

Rituals are performed for your specific ancestors, so we need your family details. Fill the form once per ritual. Buying the same ritual for the same people at multiple places? Fill once and quote your unique ID for the others — we replicate it.

Choosing the host

Who is the “host”?

The host is the living person in whose name the ritual is performed. All lineage details are entered for this person. The host can be any gender — but must be alive.

If both your parents are aliveThe ritual is done separately for your father’s and mother’s lineage — each parent as host for their side. To do both, they are two separate rituals.
Married womenYou may offer for your husband’s lineage (husband as host) and/or your own parents’ lineage (yourself as host). Each living parent’s lineage is a separate ritual.
Everyone elseAll men, and women who are divorced, separated or unmarried, simply use your own name as the host.

The one rule to remember

Name only those who have passed

Only mention the names of deceased family members. If a person is still alive, do not write their name — simply write “ALIVE”. If you don’t know a name, write “UNKNOWN”. You’ll provide names across three generations — parents, grandparents and great-grandparents — plus any other significant deceased family members you wish to honour.
